 πŸ’•Trip to Nuwaraeliya.πŸ’•

Nuwara Eliya, in the central Sri Lankan tea country hills, is a popular vacation spot for families.πŸ’• Due to its cool climate and colonial-era houses, it is known as "Little ngland." It is a popular tourist destination for both locals and tourists from around the world.πŸ’•

After a lovely train ride we reached Nuwara Eliya.πŸš‰ The first day of our trip was entirely devoted to getting there. The most amazing sights we saw on the route were lovely waterfalls,🏞️ meadows, valleys, and lush green tea plantations.🌱 As the root wound through the hills,⛰️ we could pass through a lot of tunnels. The tunnels were stunning when they could be seen. We all really enjoyed the trip as a family.πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘©‍πŸ‘¦‍πŸ‘¦ We chose to spend the night in a beautiful tourist bungalow near the town. Also, we spent that night happy and fun.

The following morning we went out of the city to explore its surroundings freely.πŸ¦‹ We were able to see the AmbewelaπŸ„ Farm House on the way as we continued along this beautiful path filled with beautiful plantations,πŸ€trees and colourful flowers.🌺 There we were able to see large numbers of cows, πŸ„goats 🐏and rabbitsπŸ‡rasied for milk production.

In the evening we went to enjoy the beauty of Gregory Lake, one of the most beautiful place in Nuwara Eliya. We watched for a long time as the area was shrouded in mist, and not only that, we spent many hours happily boating on the lake.

Early in the morning of the third day, we visited the Haggala Botanical Garden, one of the five botanical gardens in Sri Lanka.🌷 It is the second largest park in Sri Lanka. It is like a paradise with beautiful flowers and wild animalsπŸ¦‹ like bears, monkeys, birds and it is also a great place to take pictures.

Then we prepared to leave for home. In this way we spent our trip with joy and fun. It was a very enjoyable trip that I will never forget.πŸ’•

I strongly prefer to live independently. πŸ‘§However, people often mistake this brusque nature of mine as being arrogant and rude. But, all their thoughts are wrong. πŸ‘€Also, at any moment, I don't hesitate to go out of my way to lend a helping hand to people if they genuinely need it.                                      I am self disciplined. I wake up each morning and get things done in an orderly and timely manner. As well as not being able to  accomplish these tasks on time can leave me dissatisfied and make me frustrated. Additionally, I read many books other than my textbooks since my school age. πŸ€—Reading detective story books an...

πŸ’— Lowland Painting Arts. πŸ’—

πŸ§‘‍🎨 Lowland paintings of the Kandy period. πŸ§‘‍🎨 During the period of the Mahanuwara kingdoms, this art spread in the lowland areas of the island, specially in the southern and western provinces. As a result of the enthusiasm of Sangharaja Thero for his students to establish and maintain Buddhist temples in the lowlands, this art of painting spread to the lowlands. This art that spread in the pahatara areas has elements similar to the paintings of the uplands. But there are also notable differences. That is, although the style used, the techniques followed are almost the same, there are significant differences in the shape of the human figures, clothes, background colours, designs, background decorations and etc. In this way, some of the lowland temples where the tradition of painting in Kandy spread are mentioned below.πŸ’ Thelwaththa Rathpath Rajamaha Wiharaya Karagampitiya Subhodaramaya Dodanduwa Sailabimbaramaya Ambalangoda Sunandaramaya Mulkirigala Rajamaha Wiharaya Kelaniya...
